ScIDre GmbH has launched a R&D project to develop an innovative Bridgman‑Stockbarger crystal‑growth system capable of operating at 1500 °C and 100 bar oxygen pressure. The aim is to enable the controlled growth of larger single crystals of advanced oxide materials—an area where no comparable commercial solution currently exists.

The project is supported by the Free State of Saxony and co‑funded by the European Union, both of which have a strong tradition of advancing the boundaries of engineering and materials science. Our project fits squarely within this innovation landscape.

Building on our long‑standing expertise in high‑pressure and high‑temperature equipment, this development will combine key capabilities from previous projects into a unique system. It addresses the growing demand from research institutions for crystal‑growth technologies that support complex oxidizing atmospheres and precise thermal control.

With this initiative, ScIDre continues to expand its portfolio of specialized scientific instruments and strengthen its role as a partner to the international research community.
